The other day I was browsing the web when an advertisement on an art site caught my eye. It was for some art programme I had heard of before in small bits, and I got the idea to save it for later, which is something I wouldn't have done around 6 months ago even if I had wanted to.
Turns out that was the best thing I had done all week as this programme was Clip Studio Paint, and let me tell you, the price alone should have made my jaw drop (especially since it was and still is on sale).
A large variety of unique brushes, a not so copy and paste fill (paint bucket) tool, importing 3D models to draw or even composite over. These are a few of my favorite things ~.
I could quite honestly talk about the illustration tools more, but let's not forget this can be used for comics and even animation (Short 24 fps animations only with PRO ver.)
This all raises the question of "Why hadn't I heard about all of this programme's features sooner?" Well, my theory is it's from all the way over in Japan and advertised to a different type of artist (hence the previous name Manga Studio). That still doesn't fully convince me though.
I have seen my fair share of tutorials of this programme, but I'm sure getting to use the full version will be even better.
If this has peaked your interest, check out Clip Studio Paint here:
